If you're into the original Burnout games, check out Dangerous Driving. It's by a bunch of the original guys and it's basically Burnout 3.5. It just came out, so I'd suggest waiting a month or so to get a bug patch though. Some of the small glitches can be infuriating. It has been two years since Need for Speed Payback came out, but the system requirements have only changed slightly in that time period when comparing the two games. NFS Heat is the continuation of the Need for Speed series and has an interface quite similar to NFS Payback. But this game is definitely worth playing thanks to the amazing cars and races. The game looks amazing in terms of graphics. But as usual, many gamers are facing lag and low FPS issues.

Ever so slightly better graphics and more fun gameplay. You cant play heat on steam family library however. But if $$$ savings is a concern payback is a better overall value. If you are keen on vehicle customization and don’t mind not being able to play as a cop, I suggest Heat. If you can’t live without arresting racers in world’s hottest copcars and give a middle finger to the customization features, plus want the best multiplayer experience in the history of The Need For Speed, I’d recommend getting Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered.
