You can try search save files that saved at Sequence 4 or when Connor became an Assassin. But expect you will be missing some features that are available when playing as Haytham. I did this when my Assassin's Creed: Odyssey saves were corrupted and wiped the whole thing.
This is caused by corrupted save files located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\ [number code]\5184. Copy your saves somewhere elsewhere just in case. Then mix and match which ones you put copies of back into your savegame folder. For me, I had to get rid of 1.save and 3.save but keep 6.save.
