Hiding does not mean (like only blacklisting) that the game cannot use it like when a sim ages up. It still can use it, only editing the CASP in every CC package makes it the way you want. CCCASP is the one for the EA stuff installed via Sims 3 extensions and basic game.
Yes, my "object" do fit the description of a "jig" very well. I did follow the link to nraas but the topic seemed a bit different in that thread. Member brappl (3:rd post) do provide a link but I can not access that webpage. Using the methods of resetting seems to be quite dangerous as it can mess up the gamesave (at least the thread says so) .
The primary purpose of this mod is to act as a periodic clean up system for correcting errors and eliminating junk that accumulates over a regular play-session. The Nraas webpage states that combining Nraas core mods and SP 2.1 is currently unsupported and they recommend using and older version (1.2 iirc) of SP instead. But I've also seen many people combine the two with seemingly no issues.
