Spent the last week trying to activate Skoda Connect in my 2 week old Kamiq. Looks like the activation process has changed from entering a Skoda supplied. Registration pin in the Infotainment system (Amundsen) to registering as a Primary User in the car, then using both key fobs' Unlock button to begin activation.
My new Kamiq's stop-start system is hopeless. On stopping, the engine coughs and instantly restarts, so I just turn it off. My MkII Superb 1.4tsi stop/start works very well. You don't really notice it when you stop until you drop the clutch to set off and you hear a brief whir of the starter motor.
