Alexios: Lofthks nliek ayup ickdab addaytoso stopsni fligoo. Hyperbole, aye. Yeah,but true. Kassandra sounds like a person, Alexios sounds like a parody. A " i am a badass grrr" kind of overacting. Kassandra just feels more subtle and has this slightly amused/sarcastic tone in a lot of conversations that just works great.
As indicated by the novel, which itself is canon, the memories canonically belong to Kassandra. Kassandra is the first born child, who gets cast out, and Alexios is her baby brother. If you chose to play Alexios, the story doesn't change at all, they just switch places. Obviously both can't be true, and Kassandra is the canon one. -4. Gingeyboi.
She just LEAVES KASSANDRAāS BODY ON THE FLOOR TO GET BACK IN THE ANIMUS. I literally cannot believe how tone deaf this was. Itās like the game knew logically the death was sad (because hey itās death), but didnāt really realize the context for it. Kassandra had the most tragic life and death of any of the Assassins.
There is very very little things we are sure about. It makes perfect sense that the history of Alexios/Kassandra was somehow lost in time and "blurry". This is the perfect setting to let us make decisions about how the life of the main character happened.
There is literally no difference between alexios and kassandra storywise. Alexios fits just much into the hero role as kassandra because they are telling the same story just swapped. Aside from ubisoft coming out saying saying kassandra is canon there isnt really an idication that either alexios or kassandra fit better for the role.
*Speaking for myself only* Alexios sounded like Bela Lugosi and I couldn't take him seriously. Kassandra voice acting was much much better in my opinion. Whichever you choose, know this: except for pronouns used in convos, it literally make zero difference in the game. Just as amazing either way.
